Neapco opens Asia business office in China


SHANGHAI – Neapco Holdings announced the launch of its Asia Business Office in Shanghai on October 11, as part of an ongoing expansion to serve the global demands of its customers and suppliers worldwide, according to a company press release.

The office will provide technical and program support for Neapco’s automotive suppliers in Asia, as well as support Neapco customers with their global automotive sourcing for halfshafts, driveshafts, differentials and aluminum die castings. The office also is responsible for developing future business and manufacturing opportunities.

“This is a significant step as we continue to broaden our global automotive customer and supply base, and as we develop our plans for a major manufacturing presence in China,” said Robert Hawkey, CEO of Neapco Holdings. “All of these efforts are focused on enhancing our ability to add value to our automotive customers worldwide.”

Neil Wasylewski has been named Asia Business Office General Manager, reporting to Hawkey, according to the release.

The opening of Neapco’s Asia Business office is the latest initiative in Neapco’s global growth strategy and follows major expansions of its manufacturing operations in Beatrice, Nebraska, and in Saltillo, Mexico.

Neapco Holdings is a leading global manufacturer of automotive driveshafts, propeller shafts, differentials, suspension springs, aluminum die castings and driveline and steering components for original equipment, performance and aftermarket companies. With 2,200 employees, it operates production facilities in Michigan, Nebraska and Pennsylvania in the U.S., and in Mexico, Poland and Germany.
